Basketball Registrations Last Day

Good morning. Today is the last day for basketball sign-ups (10/15/2023). Please have all registrations done by this evening. We are only accepting online registrations on our registration site @ https://reg.sportspilot.com/106405/login. We are also still looking for some coaches. Please reach out to us by email at wilshireaa1@gmail.com if interested in coaching a basketball team.

Reminder – We have completed in person signups for our 2023-2024 basketball season. Online Registration will continue till 10/15, however may close sooner once we reach capacity for our teams. PLEASE DO NOT wait till the last minute to sign up as we cannot guarantee that space will remain. Teams are filling up fast.

As a not for profit 501(c)(3) organization, all of the funds we take in, goes back to the children we strive so hard to serve. All work is done on a voluntary basis and no one receives compensation for their time.

With the recent COVID-19 Pandemic, things have become much more difficult, and we as an organization have had to modify the ways we have always done things; whether it means Live Streaming games for our fans with local city ordinances barring spectators from attending events live, or organizing safe alternative events outside of the norm in efforts to keep our kids active. Unfortunately, these alternatives come at an increased cost, that we avoid turning back on families.

Wilshire Athletic Association

Wilshire Athletic Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing sports programs to the youth of Springfield and surrounding towns. Through our sports programs we strive to strengthen confidence and build self-esteem in youth aged four to thirteen. Also, through the development of team spirit and sportsmanship we hope to build unity between diverse communities. We believe that all of this can be taught in an atmosphere of fun. At this time, we offer programs in Baseball, Basketball and Soccer

Spring season right around the corner and we are in need of a few more coaches.

For soccer we are looking for volunteer coaches for our younger instructional teams.

Soccer
1-6U coach
2- 8U coaches

For baseball we need

Baseball
2-8U coaches

Please let us know if you are willing to help out our youth and get them out on the fields!
